COMMENT

International law firm Eversheds has advised Statkraft UK, a subsidiary of Statkraft AS, on the purchase of shares in Catamount Cymru Cyf. Statkraft AS is one of Europe's largest developers and operators in the renewable energy sector with its headquarters based in Oslo, Norway. Statkraft UK, who already owned half the shares, has agreed to purchase the remaining 50% of Catamount Energy SC3's shareholding in Catamount Cymru Cyf.

The Eversheds team was led by Clean Energy and Sustainability Partner, Michelle Thomas, who commented: “Statkraft is a leading provider of renewable energy and we were pleased to be able to work on this transaction with them and assist them with their strategy in the UK.”
