International law firm Eversheds has advised Enstar Group on the acquisition of Unionamerica Holdings from St Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, an affiliate of the Travelers Companies, Inc. for a total consideration of $343.4 million (£222.1 million). Enstar acquires and manages insurance and reinsurance companies in run-off and provides management, consultancy and other services to the insurance and reinsurance industry.
