Petra Diamonds, an international diamond mining group, has entered into an agreement to acquire a 75 per cent interest in Tanzania's Williamson diamond mine, owned by Cheviot Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of De Beers for a cash consideration of $10 million (£5.7 million)
